Problem printing complete jobs

Is there a way to get Project 2007 to print the whole job from start to finish?

I tried to print the current job file (already saved), and after the printer
(network HP Laserjet), prints the task list and part of the split window
Gantt chart, it hangs.

The issue seems to be the pages to the right of the current screenshot. I
can see all the tasks from the left side.

Is there something special I need to do to et the right side to print?
It doesn't seem to be limited to this one project.

Can you see everything you need in Print Preview? Do the projects print OK
on a different PC or login? What SP level (see Help, about Project). If you
are not on SP1 download and install it.

I see ti all in print preview (4 sheets)
Only have Project on this one laptop
I am downloading SP 1 now to see if that helps
I have the latest HP driver already, and my system is fully updated (though
it's a couple years old)

I'll let you know how it goes after installing SP1

Glen,

Thanks. Actually I did that already before I posted my note. I searched for
possible previous answers and didn't see any recent ones.

The trouble I'm having AFTER downloading and installing SP1

I can change the Scale to Page setting in the printer to get both the tasks
and the Gantt Chart to fit on one page but the font is tiny tiny.

I have Fit Timescale to end of page turned ON.

When I choose the option to print the document to 1 page wide and 2 pages
tall, it hangs again.

The issue seems to be when the project rolls over onto a second page due to
the size (print actual size).

I'm using all defaults

Is there another setting I should be looking for?

Try turning off 3-D Gantt chart bars: Tools > Options..., View, under Show:
deselect "Bars and shapes in Gantt views in 3-D"

Had the same problem on network HP printers and printing to pdf--would hang
or print very slowly. Turning off 3-D solved it.

Hooploid,

AWESOME! Thank you so much.

Perfect fix.

Our printer is a HP Color Laserjet 2550L on a peer-to-peer network, but I
just couldn't get it to work no matter how much finagling I did with fonts /
page settings. Ironic there isn't an official bug report on this yet.

THANK YOU!
