Problem with entering daily actuals in Web Access

I am using MS Project Web Access and am unable to get the
tasks to accept daily actuals (currently only actuals for
period and remaining work).

I have set both the Admin / Cust Web Access to:
- Hours of work done per day or per week: Resources
report the hours worked on each task during each time
period;
- Allow project managers to change the default method for
reporting progress if a different method is appropriate
for a specific project;
- Resources should report their hours worked every day.

In the project under Tools / Customize / Published fields
the "Hours of work done per time period" (the MS Project
Server Admin has set default period to days)

How do I get it to accept daily actuals?

For each project plan in which you want to use this method of tracking, do
the following:

1. Open the project
2. Click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments
3. Select the "Overwrite actual work entered by resources" option and then
click OK

Repeat this process for each project. This should set up your timesheet
correctly for the method of tracking you wish to use. Hope this helps.
