We have created an admin. Installation point. In the configuration of the
MST.file, is a New Spreadsheet/CustomPolicy1 whiches link to a template on a
server.
We have created this for Excel and Powerpoint. When the User Powerpoint or
Excel starts, first word opens an brings some convertation errors. Over the
explorer both files starting correctly

Hi Bema,

I'm not sure I'm clear on where in the process you're
seeing the problem when you mention a spreadsheet
for both Excel and Powerpoint but mention that the
error/conversion method appears when starting Word?

Can you detail the steps you're following when you
see the error?

Is this Office 2003? Is the language of the template,
the Office edition and the client PC the same default?

What is the exact error message or dialog you're receiving?

Does the same error occur if you're logged in as the
administrator?

If you install manually do you get the same error?

Are you using Drive letters/paths or UNC routing for
the templates?

After the starting of Word2003
The message in the window is:

a new Presentation from the template.

I've tested also as Admin

I haven't tested with a manually Installation

For the test's i've used drive letters & UNC path's
