Rick Martin

Patrick,
For those of us who are Technet plus subscribers is there any solution?
Thanks,

Rick

Everything seems fine now with MSDN. I was even able to retrieve my
product
keys.

However, Visio's activation process fails. Something about "Product Key
has
already been activated the maximum number of times..." ... Which is
total
hogwash. *sigh*

There is no phone number to call.

And I'd like to save my 4 Support Incidents for something more
mission
critical. As it stands I'm the only guy installing Office 2007 at my
organization... something I'm slowly coming to regret (much like IE7
a
couple of weeks ago).

Great... now I can't even log into MSDN.

Whenever I try to request a product key for Project or Visio 2007

All,

Downloaded Office Suite, Visio, OneNote and Infopath from

area
last night. Installed on two of my machines. When I tried to
activate
my

activations

but
doesn't
differentiate among products. Anyone else having problems yet?

Thanks,

Had the same problem was able to activate over the phone. I am not sure
what will happen if I have to activate more installations though.

The keys posted to the Technet Download area for InfoPath and OneNote are the
same keys. Both products can be installed without a problem using the key,
but you are only able to activate one of the two products. In my case I
installed InfoPath first with the key and then activated it without a
problem. I then installed OneNote with the key and tried to activate it and
it failed with the following message:

"Your copy of Microsoft Office OneNote 2007 cannot be activated because the
specified Product Key has already been activated the maximum number of times
permitted for your software license as specified in the Microsoft Software
License Terms."

Visio and Project share a single key as well, so I would guess they have the
same issue.

Had the same problem was able to activate over the phone. I am not
sure
what will happen if I have to activate more installations though.

Everything seems fine now with MSDN. I was even able to retrieve

However, Visio's activation process fails. Something about
"Product Key has
already been activated the maximum number of times..." ... Which
is total
hogwash. *sigh*

MSDN is a similar mess:

Is this by design???! I don't remember reading anything of the sort in any
MSDN EULA... quite the opposite I thought.

The keys posted to the Technet Download area for InfoPath and OneNote are
the
same keys. Both products can be installed without a problem using the key,
but you are only able to activate one of the two products. In my case I
installed InfoPath first with the key and then activated it without a
problem. I then installed OneNote with the key and tried to activate it
and
it failed with the following message:

"Your copy of Microsoft Office OneNote 2007 cannot be activated because
the
specified Product Key has already been activated the maximum number of
times
permitted for your software license as specified in the Microsoft Software
License Terms."

Visio and Project share a single key as well, so I would guess they have
the
same issue.

Can you describe your problem? I only have heard of MSDN so far having
issues.

Thanks,

Patrick,
For those of us who are Technet plus subscribers is there any solution?
Thanks,

Rick

:

Check the note on MSDN. That will explain to you what the problem is
and
how it will be resolved.
