Problem with Tasks in Outlook

We have an issue with Tasks. It seems User A assigns a
task to User B. User B accepts the task and becomes the
current owner. However User A shows User B as the owner
and User B shows User A as the owner. Neither User can
claim the task and become owner so the task is

I have read the "workaround" in Article 199531 which seems
to fix new tasks being assigned. How do I get this
task "fixed" so it can be worked with again?
