Problems with EPS-preview in Word 2003

I have made a black and white logo in Illustrator, that I saved as Illustrator EPS with a preview image (TIFF 8-bit). When importing it into Word 2003 I see the image in the import dialogue box, but it is blank in Word. Printing the file to pdf makes the logo perfect, but printing to a non postscript printer makes the output blank.

Anyone got a clue?

TIA

Hi Bo,

Generally Word 2002 and 2003 render the EPS graphic rather than the preview for display and print generation, unlike older versions
of Office. Check in Tools=>Options=>View to see if you have Picture Placeholders turned on and in the Print Tab to see if you need
to turn on [x] Drawing Objects.
