Problems with new color cartridge?

I[ve changed my color cartridge (same number as before) and only a light pink
will appear. I've done all possible troubleshooting to figure it out. Put the
old cartridge back in and it getrs at least various light shades of all
colors (that's why I needed a new one). I am stumped and can't figure out
what next to do.

Clean the print head and do a print alignment. See the help documentation
that came with your printer or go to your printer manufacture's website.

And if all that fails, take the cartridge back to the store and insist on a
replacement, as the cartridge is clearly defective.

Clean the print head and do a print alignment. See the help documentation
that came with your printer or go to your printer manufacture's website.

Take the cartridge back to the store of purchase and ask for a replacement.
