Problems with Office 2003 after Office 2007 trial

I bit convoluted explanation but bear with me...

I have been using Office 2003 and tried Office 2007 Pro on new laptop with
Vista then bought Office 2007 Teacher/student. Because of difference I
uninstalled trail before installing Office 2007 Teacher then problems
started....

Now everytime I open and office 2003 app it says its installing and takes
several minutes to load - esp Outlook which was never even installed in 2007
trial!!

I have tried to uninstall all office 2003 + 2007 then reinstall still get
installing every time start 2003 app

I did same on Desktop machine running XP it works fine...

I addition Word 2007 has problem that mouse wont work on document so I
cannot even forget using word 2003

It seems to me that uninstall does not remove everything - i've tried
windows uninstaller - still no joy

Help! I'm stuck in a loop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
