Problems with pasting WMF clip art into Word2003

I try to paste clip art with file extension WMF into a Word document and
receives:
Error ! Not a valid embedded object. The clip arts I use is the ones
supplied with Oficce 2003. I run Windows XP SP2 and Office 2003 SP1.
Anyone who have had the same experince? Any way to solve the problem?
