Problems with Resource Usage

I have a task that starts 7/2/07 - 10/31/07 with a duration of 88d. I have
to resources assign to that task Lori and 30% and FEM at 60%. When I look at
the Resource Usage and I look at the task assign to Lori it only has 35.2h
for the month of July and it does not expand to October which is when the
task is supposed to be finished. I don’t think this is calculating
accurately.

Can someone help?

Using Fixed Units, Effort Driven, no holidays -- Lori should work 52.8 hours
in July, 55.2 hours in Auguts, 48 hours in September, and 55.2 hours in
October. This assumes 40 hour/ 5day weeks with no other non-work days

Does your calendar (either project or resource) show Lori with vacation
time, or other holiday? Here in the USA we have off 04 JUL 2007 and 03 SEP
2007 which would drop her hours somewhat.

Jim,

it turns out that I had Lori finishing that task on 7/20/07 which is why the
usage did not expand to Oct. I changed it so that the finish date was
10/31/07 and the hours matched what you had mentioned.
