Producer 2003: Create MP3 File

Can I create an MP3 file when publishing an audio-only presentation using
Publisher? If not, is the file type that is created usable by an iPod?

No -- Producer/Windows Media creates WMV files (as far as I know even if
they contain only audio).
If not, is the file type that is created usable by an iPod?

I am guessing the iPod cannot play WMV files?
