Product Key

I recently bought a new Toshiba laptop computer and I installed Office Word
2007 program that I had previously installed on my other computer. However
it keeps asking me to type in the product key(on the new computer) which I
have done numerous times. I get a message back saying that it is not
correct. I am typing it directly from the package and it is the correct key
but the error message keeps popping up. It is saying I only have 9 more
times to use it. Any suggestions?

You need to uninstall both the TRIAL version of Office that came with your
new laptop, and also Word that you installed yourself. Clear the temp files
out and re-boot. Then re-install your copy of Word.

you might want to
install a freeware
on that other computer
called siw.

it will reveal all the
product keys which
you can use to double
check against what
you are trying to use
on the laptop.
