I'm creating MSTs and OPSs for my organization and need to keep everything
transparent from the end user. If I specify an OPS to restore custom
settings during setup (Add Installation and Run Programs of the Custom
Installation Wizard) the end user won't get the customized settings because
setup starts when they open an Office app from their desktop. The Profile
Wizard claims that the application is open and wants it either closed or
ignored. There are no command line options to ignore open applications and
I don't want end users to see any other dialog box besides the Office Setup
progress. I also don't want to embed the settings into the MST as I don't
want to rebuild the MST every time a setting needs changed
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
