Project 2000 & 2007

We are having a problem reading Project 2007 files in Project 2003.
Sometimes we are able to open 2007 files in 2003 but get a message that some
data could be lost. If we try to edit a 2007 file in 2003 it doesn't save.
Is there something we should be doing when a file is originated in Project
2007 so that those using Project 2003 can read files?

From Project2007: File Save As... In the file type drop down, select
Project2000-2003.

Initially, some users were having problems opening the resultant file in
P2003. However, I have not had that problem and I am not aware of any hot
fixes for it.

I have heard that there will be a Microsoft Office SP3 released later this
fall -- it is supposed to have Project2003/2007 issues like this one
included... allowing 2007 files to be opened in 2003. Sorry, I don't have
the link handy

Project2000 through 2003 use the same format.
Exporting from 2007 into the P2000-2003 format should open fine in 2000.
The opposite direction also works -- P2007 opens files created in P2000 and
later
