Project 2000 and Project server 2002

Hello..

When accessing project server 2002 from project 2000, will all "access
restrictions - based on inbuilt groups in project server 2002" be enforced.

I am using windows authentication.

For example when a portfolio manager connects to project server from project
2000 on their PC, they should be able to view/edit all data related to all
projects. But when a "project manager" connects to project server from
project 2000 on their PC, they should only be able to view/edit data related
to their projects!!!!

Will it work..this way?

Any hints..directions to online documentation..Y'all can provide will be of
great help.

Thanks
K.V

Hi K.V.,

There may be some 'holes' in this scenario as Project 2000
doesn't have all of the features of MS Office Project 2002
or Project Server 2002 but you may want to check with the
folks in the MS Office Project newsgroup (link below).
