project 2003 install roll back

Hi, I am building up a sinlge server test for project
server 2003. The installation of sharepoint services and
all the configuration went well. Even the install of
project 2003 progressed smoothly until at the last minute
the program ended premature due to an error.

But there is no message explaining what caused the sudden
roll back of the install and the log file is not self
explaining. I wonder how to decipher the cause the of the
problem. please help.

Hi Sarah,

You may want to also ask this in the MS Project newsgroup,
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.project
where you may find more MS Project 2003 expert users.

If you go to Start=>Run and type %temp% you should be
taken to the location of the installation log files (text)
and you may be able to see the cause of the Rollback listed there.
