I am trying to save my exact document as an HTML so that people without
Microsoft Project can view. How do I save it so that the exact document is
saved. I have just started using Microsoft Project so I'm looking for step
by step instructions. Appreciate any help.

Hi NaNCY,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Please see FAQ Item: 16. Project Viewer. If you have Project 2007, I
suggest you print to PDF.

Hi Nancy,

When you save a project file as an HTML (web page) file, you are
saving a view of the project -- not the entire project. For step by
steps:

1. Choose File > Save as Web page in the menu
2. In the Save As dialog box select a location to save the file in
and specify a file name.
3. Click the Save button to launch the Export Wizard.
4. Click Next to advanced to the Export Wizard - Map page.
5. Choose Use existing Map and click Next.
6. Choose Export to HTML using standard template and click Next.
7. Next you get to select which types of data (Tasks, Resource,
Assignments) you wish to export. For you first pass, try leaving
all 3 types selected. Click Next
8. Make any changes you need to the Task Data being exported - the
default data is quite close to what you see in the left side of the
Gantt chart with the default Entry table applied. After making the
changes click Next to advanced to the Resource Mapping page of the
wizard.
9. Make any changes you need to the Resource Data being exported.
After making the changes click Next to advanced to the Assignment
Mapping page of the wizard
10. Like the Task and resources pages, make changes to assignment
data being exported as needed. Click Next to advance to the final
page.
11. If you've modified the map, you may wish to save the
modifications. Click Finish to export the selected information to a
web page.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
