Project 2003 Standard on Terminal Server

B

BLA

We have a Citrix farm with 3 servers running W2k / SP3 & SP4 / Citrix XP /
FR3. I have tried to publish Project 2003 Standard on two of the three
servers, neither of which worked. I have not been able to find any KB
articles saying wether this application is Terminal Server compatible??? The
one article that I did find said that you do not need a transform, but you
might need the professional or enterprise version (whichever exists)??? If
you need any more info, post a reply and i will get back as soon as possible
because i really need to get this up and running (higher-ups breathing down
my back). Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Brian

Hi Brian,

I believe you need Project 2003 Professional to work with servers. I suggest
you try posting on the server newsgroup. Please see FAQ Item: 24. Project
Newsgroups. FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information
can be seen at this web address: http://www.mvps.org/project/.

I was finally able to get it working. We were running Office 2000 on our
Citrix farm, and the default location for Project was within that folder. I
removed Project and reinstalled in it's own directory under program files,
and all worked well.

Thank you for your help, and i will check out the newsgroup that you
specifed for further instruction.

You will need Project Professional to work with Project Server. This will
not help to solve the citrix problems. I would suggest that you have some
trouble with authorization...
