Project Collaboration question--Terminal server?

Hi everyone. I have what I hope is an easy (though rather scattershot)
question about Microsoft Project. I am hoping I can get some advice from the
experts out there.

I am the IT person for a small business. My CEO has become interested in MS
Project and would like to "test drive" it for some company projects. There
are a few users in the company who will use it occasionally, and some users
outside the company that my CEO wants to have them use it for the duration of
the project(s).

I was thinking about obtaining a copy of Project 2007 standard and
installing it on our 2000 Terminal server.

We also run SBS 2003 with Remote Web Workplace. Users in the company are
already using this to access the Terminal server from home computers. If
Project can run on Terminal Server, this would be a great way for the users
who are not part of and outside the company to access Project without having
to buy them a personal license.

So I would like to ask if this is a plausible implementation solution to my
boss's request? I am only very generally familiar with Project--I worked
with it and also Project Server but it has been about 6 years ago.
