After installing .Net 2.0 you need to perform a few more steps to install the
required components. Go to the Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs, select
Project and click modify. Select the Add or Remove features radio option and
click Next. Expand the Project node. For Visual Reports set the install
state to Run from My Computer.
If you installed .Net after Excel/Visio you will also need to install the
programmability support. To do this once again go to Add/Remove Programs and
select the Excel (probably called Office Professional or something close to
that) or Visio installation and click modify. Select the Add or Remove
features radio option and click Next. Expand the Excel/Visio node and set
the .Net Programmability Support to Run from My Computer. You'll need to do
this for both Excel and Visio to use them with Visual Reports. Also, if you
have Project open you'll need to restart it.
