It's tough to be sure without seeing a log file, but this sounds like a
problem with the source media. If possible, I suggest testing the
installation from that media on another computer or obtaining a replacement
disk.

| I tried the following with no joy.
| 1- Do a search for a file called "gdiplus.dll" in c:\windows\*.*
| Once found it, copied it to c:\windows
| Try install again. [failed with same error msg]
