Project 2007 & Project 2003

I have heard people are having trouble with Project2007 when saving a file in
Project2003 format. I want to be able to open projects created in 2003 with
2007 and save them back to 2003 format. The resulting file will be sent to
Project2003 users --- I am told people are having trouble with these 2003
users being able to open the file. Is this true? Am I able to open the
2003 format file again in 2007?

No propblems encountered here. I have done it both ways. I am using
Professional Versions of both 2003 & 2007.

Bumping this thread. I am using pro version of 2007 Project, and when I save
in the 03 format, no one else can open it, regardless of whether they have 03
standard or 03 pro. When they try to open it there is a popup window to
download a converter, and when you follow the link you land on the page
saying that the converter is not yet available, and won't be until Q4 07.

I thought they were kidding, so I booted up an old machine with Project 03
standard, and had the same issues.
