Hello La0d0g,

If you are using Project 2007, you can use the Set Reminder button on
the Tracking toolbar to send the task to the resource's Outlook 2007
task list. You need to have entered the email address for each
resource and assigned the resource. However, there is no link between
the task in Project and the task in Outlook, so if the schedule of the
task changes, you'll need to send a new reminder.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

I use Project 2007, and the Set Reminder button is dimmed. One of
Microsoft's help sites addressed this problem for earlier versions of Project
and said that this is because Project and Outlook have to be compatible
versions. I have Outlook 2003. Is that why my Set Reminder button is not
active?

Hello Barry,

Yes. that would be my assumption. I haven't attempted to test it with
Project 2007 and earlier releases of Outlook as I only have Outlook 07
installed along with Project 2007. Perhaps someone who uses Project
2007 with earlier releases of Outlook can confirm.
