Project diagram view

Hi,

I have a project with a start date of 1st Feb 05 and an end date of Dec 07,
however when print pieviewing or trying to print the project diagram the page
displays a timeline from August 2002 - December 2007.

Is there anyway to configure the project diagram to only display from Feb 05
- Dec 07, rather than the picture it is currently showing, which shows a span
of 5 years, with half of that empty showing no task information.

Incidentially the project start date in Project Information is set to 1st
Feb 2005.

Thanks

jimmy,
In the Print window select a specific date range for the timescale. When
printed, only that time period will appear (assuming your print driver
is up to date).

Hope this helps.

Hi Jimmy,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

When you select File/Print, the Print dialog has the option to print between
selected dates.

This is very a very roundabout way of getting the expected result - you ought
to be able to restrict the VIEW on the screen to the boundaries of your
project. Besides, I tried the solution recommended and I lost the middle and
top tier of the timeline on the printout. is there a better solution . thank
you
