Project Groups/Filters

Hi All, My company is a national company and we have just had the
different states come online with using our microsoft project and
project server for their particular projects. The problem being with
this is that when you go to open an existing project from Microsoft
Project 2003 there is a large amount of project files to look through
before you find the one that you need.

I have noticed that in the file -> open box there is a "groups" drop
down box. Is there a way of a) creating a group that you can save your
project file to which directly relates to the project file name? For
eample if the project file name starts with NSW.... then you can have
a group that lists all projects that start with NSW?

b) If this is possible are you about to select this group from the
file -> open window to allow easy sorting of your project files?

If this isn't possible does anyone else have any other suggestions??
