Project hanging on Save

When saving changes to a project plan that has already been saved into
Project Server, the plan hangs for 10-15 minutes at times. Anyone know any
bugs or workarounds with this?

I have the exact same problem with 4,000 line and 9,000 line projects. We
have reinstalled project, stripped off any custom views and reloaded. Still
hanging. Suspect it is logging for the views, but need expert advice.
Please help.
