Generally speaking, the Status Date is ending date of the last reporting
period. So, if I was collecting project progress for last week, the Status
Date would be 3/25/05. The Status Date for this week reporting period is
4/1/05 and for next week it is 4/8/05. Because the Status Date continues to
change over the life of the project, I believe Microsoft sets the default
Status Date value to NA, which forces you to select the correct ending date
for your last reporting period. Hope this helps.
