Project Install

I am trying to install Project 2003 over Office 2003 and get that "File not
found, PR308242.cab" error. The update and repair does not work, neither
does reinstalling, and I am using the native disks... any suggestions?

Hi Julie,
This KB doc was the first one I found, and it did not help. There was a
second article that recommended going back to the original Office Install
disk, that did not help either. The symptons are not quite the same, in
that the prompt was a file not found, please insert, rather than a read file
error.
I tested this Doc by moving the install CD to an install director, and
changing the cache level as indicated, the file cab file error occurred.
Thank You for trying, I am open to any other ideas...

Julie, thanks for trying. My next guess is to go back to a prev version of
office and see if I can recover a cab file... I appreciate your trying..
