I was testing the shared resource function with a group of projects to see if
I could report on resource allocations across projects (pooled) through a
master project schedule. This didn't work out quite as I'd hoped, so I
disconnected the pool from the projects and deleted the file shared resource
pool file. The master project file was also deleted without saving changes
to any of the projects that were imbedded in it.
The problem is that the next time I tried to create a master project
schedule, some of the projects that were part of the shared resource pool now
have had their identification changed to "Shared Resource Project" so that
when they are added to a master schedule, the name of the project is "Shared
Resource Project" and not their actual project name. The name is changed in
the Properties of each MS Project file as well.
Can you tell me what I need to reset to return the project names to these
files?
