Project Server 2003 - Project Renaming Tool

I recently had to delete a project from the database and save all of
the attached documents because I could not get the Project Renaming
Tool to work on Project Server. I downloaded the tool and installed
on my Project Server application server(DB is on a separate server),
followed all of the installation instructions from Microsoft and found
that it would not rename the project. I was allowed to login with the
tool and view all of the current projects,but got an error when trying
to perform the rename that states "The Server did not recognize your
request".

Any insight into this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I'm trying to use the Renaming Project Tool but i've got an error
(unexpected error) and renaming failed. Regarding your problem, i think you
haven't register the DLL files. Read the document that explain how to use
this tool.
Does anyone has succcessfully rename his project with this tool?

Indeed we have 20 or more sites that regularly rename projects with this
tool.

I am also getting the same message: "The Server did not recognize your
request". I follow the .doc file that downloads with the zip file. The
only thing I can think may be incorrect is where I have the renames
directory. I have a project server and also SQL DB site, where should I
install?
