Hi,
I would like to ask for some detailed pointers as to which database
maintenance tasks will be usefull to perform against a Project Server
database(s), and specifically a large (>20GB) database(s). I am thinking of
stuff like Defragmenting Indexes, etc. Lots of the documentation and
postings I have seen seems to indicate that one should follow general SQL
documentation for this, but I think this is a bit too vague for two reasons:
for someone who does not necessarily have loads of SQL experience this is
daunting as where exactly does one start? And secondly one does not want to
take steps that might things worse (in terms of performance, etc).
Do you have anything like this please?
