Steve

I'm recieving the following error when I open from Project Server using Project Professional 2003
An exception occurred in the Project Server. Project Server encountered a problem with this error code: 9573. Please contact your server administrator

Well, I am the server administrator, and from what I can find, Microsoft has absolutely no documentation on this... The error logged in the Application log is
Component: PD
Line:
Error Number: 0x256
Description:
CDataAccess.ParseSQLException; -2147217873 : Cannot insert duplicate key row in object 'MSP_RES_SECURITY' with unique index 'I_MSP_RES_SECURITY'.</Description

I looked at MSP_RES_SECURITY and the table is empty

Can someone please help me out

Thanks in advance
Steve

Stever:

On its face, it would appear that you've got a data duplication problem in
the database. We're fairly familiar with how these happen in 2002, however
we're all just discovering these quirks in 2003. Can you tell us what led up
to the error?

I'm not sure exactly, but I think it's related to the following

I ran the stored proc from Microsoft that deletes Enterprise Resources since you still can't delete them from Project Pro. After that, I started getting all of these errors. When I restored the backup, the errors went away

I did a reinstall last night and everything is working okay now - except I'm also now getting a real odd group of errors

When a particular user publishes to the server, the spooler reports a SYSTEM ERROR (0x80004005). In the Application log, I get these three errors

Actually, when I said things were okay, I lied. In addition to the errors I listed in my previous message, I'm getting the initial error again

The only thing I did this time was enter in some % completion percentages into the project and publish it.

Steve:

Revert to a backup from before you ran the scripts. I wasn't aware that they
were posted for 2003.
