Project Standard 2002 - Custom Fields

Hey guys / Gals,
I've just started for a new client who have MSP2002 as their MSP app.
I was going to jazz up some of their plan by using a simple "traffic light"
display, however when I go to "Text 1" column, the custom fields tab is all
greyed out.

Any ideas whether this is MSP02 or some crap restriction the client has put
in place - is there come way to get custom fields working again ??

Are you using Project Server? If so I expect the client has put
restrictions on that field. Is just Text1 affected?

Why don't you ask your client if they have implemented crap restrictions?
