Wow so easy when you now how, thanks alot great help.

This is also a formating question, other than the standard fonts colors etc
are there any best pratice methods of displaying Gannt Charts, for example
should the Task Name be placed next to the barchart in Bar Text?

Thanks, Andrew

Dear Andrew,

If you want to display the task name next to the task bar (also called as
gantt bar), then choose Format > Barstyle ..., and select the type of task
you want to customize. Select the Text tab and indicate the postion where the
task name be displayed. Field name of task name is Name.

Please let us know if this helps.

My personal preference is not to show the text. But if a customer required
it to be shown, i would just create a new view which would show this when
printing. I sometimes have numerous views available for different
departments, but always use the same view for my own updating.

You're welcome, Andrew :)

There are no best practice methods - it's entirely up to you or your
customer. If you put the task name with the bar, you could do away with the
table on the left.
