Project Templates

I have users who are getting errors publishing projects they just created in
PS 2003. They created the projects from templates that originally came from
PS 2002. How do I convert the old templates to 2003? Why didn't the upgrade
automatically convert these?

Thank You.

Why don't you tell us what kind of publishing errors they are seeing? They
would simplify the problem solving process.

Hi Dale,

Here are the steps I took:

1) create new project (from Enterprise Template SDLC)
2) Save Project (on Server)
3) Exit Project Pro
4) Run Project Pro
5) Open Saved Project Billg_SDLCtest
6) Receive message: enterprise global already contains a filter named
"Enterprise Resources. Do you want to replace the filter with the one from
enterprise global, replace all items with duplicate names, rename the filter
in the project, or cancel opening the project?" Then I'm given the options
Replace,Replace All,Rename, Cancel.

I chose "Replace All", which is followed with an info dlg "There is a table
named Enterprise Entry in this project which cannot be overwritten. Press OK
to rename it or Cancel to cancel opening the project." Given the options OK,
Cancel...I chose OK.

Then another dialog is displayed "Rename" to rename "Enterprise Entry". I
called it "Enterprise Entry 2".

This led me to believe that the SDLC template is in the old 2002 format.

Your thoughts?
