Project Workspace

When a project is published in Project Server, how do we get the Workspace
Calendar to show the Project dates inside the calendar?

Please advise. Thanks.

I already answered your question once. If you don't like the answer, please
don't think you can keep asking the question, hoping you will get a
different answer from someone else. Again, the answer is: You cannot. The
Calendar you see in the Project Workspace is for events RELATED to the
project, such as for things like project status meetings, team meetings, a
monthly project team "Happy Hour" at Mickey's Pub, and a project closure
celebration party. It is NOT for viewing tasks in the project. Hope this
helps.

Surely you can't shot someone down for wanting a second opinion. It is a free
community forum after all :)

Anum_10 Have you tried adding the 'Project Details' webpart to a project
workspace? It's not a calendar control but a gant chart type view that shows
task specific information. This can also be added into the project workspace
template by creating a web part page in a document library, then adding the
web part to the page and when saving a site template, remember to check the
'include content' option. It may not help but worth a look.

Alternatively, if your organisation is handy with code, you could always
look at developing a custom SharePoint web part the reads information in from
the PSI for a particular project and display it in a sharepoint list. Then
all you need to do is apply a default calendar view oin the list. To make it
even funkier, perhaps have some task level custom fields/criteria that will
identify that task to be included in the web part information display. Hope
that has given you a helpful alternative to consider.
