ProjectCenter doesn't show uploaded Projects, but they are there

After a fresh farm install of Project server 2007 i can upload Project-files
from Project Professional 2007 via the import assistant onto my new project
server. I can then find the ressources in the PWA site under ressources. I
also find the uploaded projects to download from the server. But the Project
center within the PWA still shows the introducing text about either not
having any projects or not having any rights.

I installed a fresh farm with a free SQL Express Edition residing on the PWA
maschine and a domain controller somewhere else. the frash WSS part is not
used in any way - though accessible and existent. Important: I have
slipstreamed my installation files of project server 2007 to incorporate the
SP2 files of the MOSS 2007 ServicePack 2. This means I unpacked these via
the "setup /extract" method and incorporated the contents of the Update
folder in the formerly empty update folder of the original installation
files. This is the recommended method, or?. And I had no problems at all to
set up the whole thing, to configure SharePoint and to use PWA - except this
strange behaviour of the Project Center: Not showing what is uploaded and
usable.

Hopefully somebody likes to hint me ..

You only see enterprise projects in the Project Center if you actually
PUBLISH the projects using File - Publish. Hope this helps.

Dale,

I have the same problem, but I can't find Publish under File in Projet 2007
Pro.

I have no idea why you don't see the Publish item on the File menu. When
you save a project, are you able to save it in the Project Server database?
And are you certain you have the Professional version of Microsoft Project
2007? Let us know and we will try to help.
