Projectserver_Reporting database out of sync?

Hello,

I'm currently creating some reports on resource planning and capacity. While
querying the ProjectServer_Reporting database, I noticed that some
timesheetactuals are in the reporting database, but they do not appear in the
PWA interface. I also tried to find them in the Published database, but they
are not there.

It seems to me that the ProjectServer_Reporting is out of sync (we had some
failed updates of the reporting database in the past, I guess these failed
updates are responsible).

I tried to refresh the ProjectServer_Reporting database by doing an
Administrative Backup and Restore on the Enterprise custom fields. This
refreshes most tables, but the MSP_TimesheetActual table is not refilled.

Is there a way to rebuild the entire Projectserver_Reporting database from
scratch?

With kind regards,

Maarten

Maarten,

I also had a Reporting Database that was out of sync a while back (deleted
data was still in the reporting database)and was unable to find a way to
re-create the database through an official method, so had to remove it
manually. Fortunatly for me this was not in a production environment.

From what I understand/investigations have shown is the the Reporting
database is updated during the publish process. If you have a test
environment backup the reporting database and then delete it. Create a new
empty reporting database (could use the one from the EPM2007DEMO environment
instead, PWA not Litware). Then re-publish all your projects.

If this works perform the same actions on you production sever

Not an easy or clean solution.
