Property Promotion

Hi

I have an Infopath form published to a document library in MOSS (with forms
services). When I publish the form and promote form fields to columns in the
SharePoint document library the columns are visible in list views but when I
go to view the item properties I can only see fields that have been flagged
for 'Property Demotion'. Is this a limitation of property promotion in
Infopath 2007 / SharePoint 2007?

Hello

As I understand from your question , you want to view the promoted columns
from the form in the Item properties and edit them. If that is so , yes this
is a limitation on Sharepoint site. You need Infopath or open the item in a
browser if it is a browser enabled form and edit them.

I suppose what I really wanted to do was to use the SharePoint object model
to manipulate the Infopath document. I was hoping that if I modified the
sharepoint list item that is attached to the infopath form with promoted
fields that I would also be updating the form at the same time. I decided to
manipulate the XML document instead.
