Prorated Fixed Cost not proratting.

I have a Task set with a fixed cost of $1,000. The
duration is 40 days. When I view this task in the resource
usage view, I do not get the proration, in fact, when I
expose the Cost, I see no cost at all. The cost field on
the task is updated to reflect the $1,000, just not the
prorated view. I have set the Accrual method to Prorated.
Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? Thanks.

Jim --

You are examining the wrong View to find your prorated Fixed Cost over the
life of the task. Take a look at the Task Usage view and you should find
the prorated Fixed Cost there. Hope this helps.
