Protected Document

I'm using a scanned document and I want to edit it, but the document is
protected. Is there anyway I can remove the protection on the document?

Hi Hotlanta,

If the document is protected, look on the Tools menu for an Unprotect
command. This may require a password.

It sounds, however, more like you've scanned a document as a graphic and are
trying to edit the text, which is not an achievable result. When you scan the
document, there's another method for text recognition. Check your scanner
software for OCR (optical character recognition).
