Protecting my presentation from being edited

Hi,

I need to distribute a number of presentations to some trainers containing
powerpoint presenatrions for use in their training. It is, however, very
important that the trainers can't edit these presentations. Is there any way
of not having a password for them to open the presentation but one to edit it?

Also, if i did this would they still be able to copy and paste the
information contained in it?

There are few ways to do so. If you are using PowerPoint 2002/XP and above,
you can set password to protect your presentation from modifying.
Go to Tools > Options > Security. Set your password there.
If you are using PowerPoint 2000 and below, this feature isn't supported.
You can though, embed your presentation into MS Word or Excel.

How secure is the password one enters in Poweroint? Or to put it another
way, how easy is it to break it?
