protection after printpreview

I have a template that some users need to view and then print out. Right now
it has a print preview option set to unprotect the document in order for the
user to view all pages in print preview, otherwise they are only able to view
the pages that contain editable fields on them. Is there a way to return the
document to previous protection upon exiting print preview and returning to
the template?
