.pst (corrupt), Outlook not responding

I have a .pst file that is just under a Gig that is not
allowing Outlook 2000 to open. Outlook freezes and I have
to end task via the task manager. Scanpst reports not
errors found but the log shows -
**Attempting to validate BBT refcounts
??Couldn't find BBT entry in the RBT (F5A60)
??Couldn't find BBT entry in the RBT (1A0258)
Is there anything I can do?
