pst Rebuild / Import Not Working

Hello,

I have reinstalled office along with Outlook (2003), and then went to import
my contacts, etc from my previous *.pst file. Now when I open a new mail
message window and click on the "To" button to invoke the contacts list, I
get "The address list could not be displayed. The contacts folder associated
with this list could not be opened; it may have been moved or deleted, or
you do not have permissions."

Please advise as I have never had this problem before when I have imported
my info...thank you for any assistance.
