Pub 2003 Borderart Issue

Hi,

I have a lapto running Vista and Norton Internet Security 2007. I have
installed Office Professional 2003. I am using Publisher and wish to create
a custom borderart. I pick the clipart file that I want and click ok, I
then get the following error message "Publisher cannot open the file". I
have run Microsoft update, installed SP2 for Office, run the update for
Norton in case this was the problem, but now I am stumped!

Any help or advice?

Could be the clipart is too big to create the BorderArt. Resize the picture and
try again.

Thanks for this. I have tried resizing and it still doesn't work. I have
also tried a number of different cliparts. I did find another question and
an answer to try disabling the Office scan function in Norton, so I tried
this as well.

Vickie, I simply don't know why some images work okay and some don't. I tried
using a certain image in all versions of Publisher, only 2003 wouldn't work.
This issue came up some time ago and the suggestion was to resize the image and
it did work for the poster.

Hi,

I have solved this problem. Appeared to be a permission issue. Even
though the account was an administrator account, a directory needed the
permission changing and so it now works.
