Pub 2007 alters fonts from Pub 2003

A file created in Publisher 2003 (with XP operating syst) was copied on a
disk and loaded into Publisher 2007 (with Vista).

In the original file certain titles (in their own separate text boxes) had
been first typed in Book Antigua font but then changed later to Lucida
Calligraphy font. However Pub 2007 changed these titles that were in Lucida
Calligraphy font back to Book Antigua font.

Why has Pub07 messed with my changed Pub03 font settings? How can I avoid
this? Thanks.

Do you have the fonts that were changed physically installed on the Vista
machine? If not Publisher, as well as most other software, will substitute
the closest font it can find.

What happens if you copy the file from the removable disk to your hard drive and
then open it? I suspect it has something to do with not reading the font
directory when the file is opened from the removable disk.
