What program will convert a .pub doc with graphics to a PDF file?

The document (a family cookbook) has text and color photos. I created it in
Publisher with Microsoft 2003. I downloaded Adobe 9 and Acrobat, but it is
telling me that it won't convert .pub files. Should I download a different
PDF creator like www.primopdf.com and try again? I took the pub. file to
Kinko's for printing, but they didn't have the same font and margins and
recommended I come back with my document as a pdf. file. Help! Thanks.

==================================
The file needs to be opened in MS Publisher
before it can be converted to .pdf.

Matbe you could download the 60 day Pub2007
trial version and use it:

Primo PDF is good and there is also an Add-In
that adds .pdf support to Publisher 2007:

2007 Microsoft Office Add-in:
Microsoft Save as PDF or XPS

If you have Acrobat, you can create a .pdf file from anything. Nothing is
"converted" tho - you do a File - Print - and change the printer driver to
the .pdf creating driver.

There is no good method for converting publisher files before Publisher 2007
into PDF. Publisher 2007 has a PDF icon which converts multi-page documents
to PDF without losing margins and shifting text to the next page. I also
upgraded to Acrobat 8, and that may be necessary if you are using older an
version.

Just a quick question:

Did you download a trial version of Acrobat or just the free Reader?
