Pub won't open pub files AFTER the June 10 update???

After I installed all the updates from the Windows update siste Pub won't
open pub files ??? Anyone else having this trouble???

This was caused by Service Pack 2. Microsoft is aware of the problem and
has apparently developed a fix for this, but they won't release it until
June 30.

What happened to the MS Pub fix that was supposed to be offered on 30 June
09????

I still can not open Pub files.
