Public Folders in Outlook

Hi,
i want to use one of my public folders as an address book. i have shared the
file on the Server and all of my users have the folder by default when they
connect to email the first time. I go that contact group, properties and
share it. the problem is it seems one of my users deleted the public folders
from their left pane folders section. how would i get the public folder to
show again over there? Like i said all the other users i have looked at had
the public folder listed and i was able to check the 'use as address list'
box. I just want to restore the conection to it. Do i import/export? add new
folder and point to the Server?

i am usinng version 2002

Thank You,
Matt

If the user wants to see the folder in the Contacts navigation pane in Outlook 2003, have the user drag the folder to Public Folders\Favorites.

Thank You for your response Sue,

I got the folder to my desktop but i wasn't sure what you wanted me to do
from there. I thought that outlook should initiate the import so it could
catalog/place the folder where it should be but i don't see the place to do
that. So I tried to copy the folder to my contacts. It said i could copy a
folder but needed to copy objects. I copied the contents of the folder which
had 150 objects but that created one contact which included all 150, i guess
i was looking to bring the folder in and when clicked on that's when i would
see the 150 contacts. i think it's close but i'm missing something. I do have
the folder on the desktop so where would i go from here to finish the process?

Thanks,
Matt

What does the desktop have to do with it? I was suggested that you drag the folder to the Public Folders\Favorites hierarchy within Outlook.
